Job Description:
Our Help Desk support is the first point of contact for our users and provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance within our office.
The selected candidate will need a strong understanding of computer hardware, basic networking, and the Windows operating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to IT support requests via email, phone, or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
- Assist with network troubleshooting and basic network configuration.
- Document issues and resolutions in the help desk ticketing system.
- Provide support for Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Educate users on best practices and provide training as needed.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and common software applications.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with Active Directory and basic server administration.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and network connectivity issues.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn!
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-oriented and patient.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
- A degree or certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in a customer service or technical support role.
