Thee Farm is a luxury event and wellness center located in the heart of Kemptville. We are looking for an experienced gardener with green fingers and a passion for plants to join our team.
Do you enjoy maintaining green spaces? Do you know exactly what trees, plants, and flowers need to stay healthy and vibrant? Do you enjoy thinking of creative landscaping ideas and different ways to further liven up a green space?

Responsibilities:

• Installation of soft landscape; soil grading, seeding, planting, mulching & more
• General maintenance of grounds; cut grass, fertilize and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees, and perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Other day-to-day tasks could include cleaning pathways, water features, and garden/outdoor furniture.
  Operate and maintain power mowers, blowers, tractors, skid steers, loaders, electric clippers, pruning saws and other landscape equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation to get to/from job site (site is not bus accessible)
• Proven experience in physically demanding and/or outdoor labor
• Knowledge of landscape materials, processes and equipment
• Being able to devise creative, effective solutions is a valuable aspect of this job
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
