The Project Management Office (PMO) owns the establishment and oversight of Portfolio/Programme/Project governance and delivery frameworks, policies and procedures. It is the operational arm of the Investment Review Committee (IRC), providing day-to-day decision, reporting and portfolio/programme/project management support.

Role Summary
Within the PMO team, this role helps to establish and promote best practices and use of a standardized approach to governance, delivery and reporting of projects across the organization. This role supports the PMO Lead in producing and maintaining micro/macro-oversight and governance level processes and outputs:
- Micro level: Portfolio oversight, governance and monitoring. Provide transparency by reporting project statuses, financials and necessary escalations to the Business Operating Committee (BOC) and IRC on a monthly basis
- Macro level oversight: Coordinate project portfolio dependencies, finances, reporting and communication at macro level to ensure cohesiveness and transparency
- Governance: help establish guidelines, templates, learning, standards and policies for change across the organization to ensure consistency and best practices
Deliverables
- Administration of PMO portfolio setup and management
- Maintain accuracy and quality of portfolio management reports
- Responsible for drafting periodic reports and decks
- Produce high quality and accurate reporting for key stakeholders
- Oversee Initiation to Close stage for each project part of the IRC portfolio
- Provide support and administrative duties for the change portfolio by coordinating PMO processes, systems/tools and ensuring governance is adhered to
Strategic Goals
- Identify opportunities and areas of enhancements for PMO processes and outputs
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization and helps promote best practice in relation to Project Management and Project Governance
Collaboration
- Work closely with Project Managers to monitor progress and overall health of projects' status and financials
- Coordinate with other teams and departments to ensure processes are aligned with impacted stakeholders
- Work closely with Finance team to ensure projects' and portfolio's financials are planned and managed effectively
Essential
- Bachelors in Commerce, or similar field
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with Smartsheet or another Project Management tool
- Experience in a similar role, which includes an understanding of the project lifecycle and project governance principles
Preferred
- Experience with PowerBI
Understanding of the Financial Services industry, preferably Fund Services
Project Management certification
Knowledge in financial processes (budgeting, forecasting, etc.)
