What does a Product Specialist do?
•Handle RFQs, RFPs
•Costing and Pricing of product lines
•Manage product sampling on new programs
•Development of marketing materials including product literature, samples, sample cases and other marketing collateral
•Prepare status reports of projects and key departmental indicators
•Ensure BOM costs are correct
•Ensure part numbering system is correctly implemented
•Monitor on-going cost reduction initiatives and implementation
•Provide technical assistance to customers & sales team
•Attends trade seminars & exhibitions

What you bring to the table
•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or related degree.
•Product Management, Project Coordination, Technical sales and/or Marketing experience
•3+ years of experience, preferably in the interconnect industry, industrial automation, data/ telecom, automotive
•Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel Spreadsheets and PowerPoint)
