Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative R&D Technician to join our team. In this role, you will help develop and refine plant-based products, contributing to Herbalands mission of creating high-quality, sustainable health solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring new formulations to life, ensuring they meet our standards for quality, functionality, and sustainability. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and refine formulations for various product formats, including gummies, liquids, gels, and jellies.

Conduct tests and troubleshooting to ensure formulations are scalable and production ready.

Research new ingredients and industry trends to drive product innovation and improvement.

Generate nutrition information panels in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Prepare product registration and regulatory documentation to meet Health Canada standards.

Maintain a clean and organized lab environment to support efficient workflow.

Prioritize sustainability in product development and daily tasks.

Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and mathematical skills.

Support additional projects and tasks as required.

Requirements:

A Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.

Experience in the nutraceutical or food industry (preferred but not required).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

Self-motivated and capable of working under pressure in time-sensitive conditions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Training:

On-the-job training will be provided and evaluated upon completion.
