**Job Summary:**
On behalf of a start-up property management company in Vancouver, BC, we are hiring a Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate should be fluent in both English and Mandarin, possess strong oral and written communication skills, and hold a valid BC driver's license. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and handle both financial and administrative tasks effectively.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar capacity
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and office tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid BC driver's license
**Responsibilities:**
- Maintain accurate financial records and transactions
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy
- Prepare financial reports, summaries, and assist with budgets
- Provide administrative support and assist in audit preparations
- Efficiently handle various tasks independently and in a team setting
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Certification such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or equivalent
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Additional language proficiency is a plus
