About this role
We are recruiting for a driven and dedicated Service Manager to join our Security Technologies team, based in Kamloops.
Your responsibilities
- Lead the Security service team in the Kamloops area
- Manage customers, staff, financials, and core processes for the efficient and effective delivery of Security service (access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection)
- Maintain good relationship with field management, suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end users
- Estimate project costs, changes, manage team financials including annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Lead a team of coordinators, dispatch, and field staff
- Coach on preventative maintenance requirements and best practices
- Create and manage SLA agreements with customers
- Meet with key accounts and manage customer escalations and/or complaints
- Participate on the leadership team
- Manage the transition of Security projects to the Security service team
- Maintain a strong GP% within work orders
- Maintain a strong utilization rate
- Schedule resources and ensure all safety protocols are being followed
- Assist with directing other technical experts as needed
Your experience and skills
- 3+ years of service management experience in the construction/electrical security technologies field
- Solid knowledge of Security Systems including access control, CCTV and intrusion detection, plus trades qualification and/or electrical TQ, an asset (Lenel, Genetec, or Avigilon preferred)
- Security qualifications preferred
- Sound understanding of industry and technology trends
- Good computer skills. Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Procore, AutoCAD and Accubid are an asset
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; and able to interact with project stakeholders, other project manager/estimators, field team, and office support team
- Strong organization and time management skills

Salary range: $80,000-$105,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered. Let's chat throughout the hiring process and determine the best fit.
