Overall Requirements:

Are you driven and passionate about sales? We are looking for an experienced sales professional to pursue new client opportunities in North America, CALA and EMEA. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in helping our clients enhance their cybersecurity and defense capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in the defense and cybersecurity space, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster and maintain lasting relationships with key customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development through cold calling, networking, and relationship building. Focus on generating leads, closing sales, and expanding the customer base within the defense, aerospace, and cybersecurity sectors
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and stay up-to-date on industry trends
  • Identify target prospects and develop a strategic approach for outreach
  • Actively identify on-going sales service or cybersecurity opportunities and recommend customized solutions
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts and provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Position Dafocom/Terra Nova as a value-added solution within the customer supply chain
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients while ensuring profitability and long-term partnerships. Be proactive in overcoming objections and closing deals
  • Recommend programs to enhance sales, and resolve performance or efficiency issues for clients
  • Deliver customized presentations to clients, interpret and reinforce the companys value proposition
  • Develop ramp plans to engage new business into the organization by working with the customer, and internal teams
  • Work closely with the engineering, and the operations teams to ensure that customer requirements are met and the solutions provided align with client needs
  • Provide Management with regular updates, metrics, and forecasts and define on going strategies to work within the customer base

Education & Experience:

  • University degree or college diploma in Business Administration or a related field

Additional Qualifications:

  • Five years plus in service sales experience
  • Previous experience and relationships in cybersecurity and defense sectors
  • Experienced prospector of organizational structures
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Great customer service skills
  • Ability to work well independently as well as be a team player
