We are currently seeking a skilled 310T Heavy Truck & Coach Technician to join our maintenance team in Burlington. Reporting to the Fleet Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of ready-mix trucks and support vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on ready-mix trucks through preventative and scheduled maintenance.
- Remove, rework, and install various engine and chassis components.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve breakdowns.
- Order necessary parts and manage inventory levels.
- Accurately complete work orders and inspection sheets.
- Communicate effectively with operations and supervisory staff on vehicle availability.
- Prioritize tasks and ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to shop procedures and Occupational Health & Safety standards.
- Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician License or a Registered Apprentice in a 310T program.
- Valid Class G Driver's License.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and air brakes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Safety-conscious with strong interpersonal communication.
- Ability to work independently and travel to local sites as required.
