Job Summary:

Our Ainsworth RBAS team is looking for a RBAS Specialist to join our Ottawa team. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with some experience in the Building Automation industry. The individual will continue to grow his/her knowledge and assist RBAS team to develop stands, to evaluate products and to develop application to meet our customers' requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the BAS group as determined by hiring manager.
  • Assist with site commissioning and monthly/annual inspection with field technicians.
  • Perform monthly preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Develop application to meet customers' needs and requirements.
  • Develop application to improve remote monitoring business efficiency.
  • Support all sales in national accounts.

Qualifications:

  • 0 to 3 years of experience in Building Automation.
  • Four-year college/university degree, two-year/three-year post-secondary engineering technology or applied science program, and/or equivalent trade/field experience and eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) or the Ontario Association of Certified
  • Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT)
  • Fluent in English – both written and oral. Fluent in French is a definite asset. The ability to read and understand construction plans and specs and product documentation.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office, including Visio or Scripted programming language.
  • Some travel may be requested from time to time. Ainsworth will reimburse travel expenses including mileage for driving.
