- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, pneumatic gates, pumps, compressors, dust collectors, and other mechanical systems
- Participate in project work and annual shutdown overhauls
- Conduct welding, cutting, and brazing on various metals using different techniques
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices for installation and repair of machinery
- Maintain and troubleshoot transmission systems, gearboxes, pulleys, shafts, and bearings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work procedures
- Remove outdated or unused equipment as assigned
- Maintain housekeeping standards and report deficiencies to supervisors
- Valid Industrial Millwright License (433A)
- Completion of a recognized Millwright Apprenticeship Program
- Ability to obtain a structural welding certificate
- Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems
- Familiarity with hoisting, rigging, and pneumatic/hydraulic components
- Working knowledge of pumps, fans, blowers, gear drives, and compressors
- Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and service manuals
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
