Role Summary:

Vipond is looking for Fire Inspection Account Manager to join the team. The Fire Inspections Account Manager is responsible for managing client accounts and developing new business opportunities in the Life Safety fire inspections sector. This Customer-centric role involves nurturing client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, coordinating fire inspection services, and achieving sales targets. The Account Manager acts as the primary contact for clients, providing expertise in fire safety and ensuring compliance with fire safety codes and regulations.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Account Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing all aspects of their accounts.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by proactively addressing any concerns and providing exceptional end-to-end service.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to review their fire maintenance and inspection needs and service performance.
  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other proactive methods.
  • Develop, prepare and deliver sales proposals to prospective clients, based on client needs, industry standards and our current offerings.
  • Service Coordination:
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for fire maintenance and inspections, ensuring timely completion and adherence to client requirements.
  • Work closely with our inspection teams to communicate client expectations and ensure high-quality service deliveries are performed.
  • Monitor the progress of inspections and address any issues that arise during the process.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure all fire inspection services comply with local, Provincial and National safety regulations and codes.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, service agreements, and inspection reports. Provide clients with comprehensive reports and documentation following fire inspections.
  • Client Education and Support:
  • Educate clients on fire safety best practices and the importance of regular fire inspections.
  • Offer guidance on how to address any deficiencies identified during inspections.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and developments to provide clients with relevant and accurate information.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting:
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including sales targets, client retention rates, and overall account performance as per company and client requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports for management on account activities and progress towards identified goals.
  • Other duties as required.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Fire Safety, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of account management or sales experience, preferably in the fire safety or inspection services industry.
  • Relevant sales or fire safety certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Proficiency in using MS suite of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations, codes, and inspection processes. I.e.: NFPA, Building Code/Electrical Code, Can/ULC)
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and time-management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
