Job Description

The Contract Specialist will manage all aspects of the contract lifecycle, including drafting from approved templates, negotiation, execution, and administration, while ensuring compliance with organizational policies. This role requires, excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders across legal, procurement, and other departments. Strong administration and organizational skills are essential. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining contracts with sub-contractors, managing a contract registry to track deadlines and approvals for renewals and amendments and track contract compliance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in, Business Administration, Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Contracts Specialist, or similar role,
  • Strong administrative skills and high proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and Acrobat Professional.
  • Understanding contract management best practices.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools, with experience using databases, document management systems, and electronic signature platforms
  • Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality results and customer service excellence
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and to plan and prioritise your own workload, act on own initiative and effectively manage a multi-faceted workload. Ethics and values focused
  • Self-motivator comfortable with working remotely
  • Must successfully pass a Criminal Record Check
