About the Opportunity:

Our client is a well-established and respected leader in property restoration services, supporting both residential and commercial clients across the Greater Sudbury area. They specialize in emergency response, working with insurance carriers to restore properties after fire, flood, storm, and mold-related damage.

We're seeking a Project Manager / Estimator with direct insurance restoration experience and a strong understanding of fast-paced, multi-claim environments. This is a client-facing role requiring the ability to manage active claims, scope restoration work, and see projects through from initial inspection to final sign-off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site damage inspections for residential and commercial losses (fire, water, mold, storm).

• Prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate and submit through XactAnalysis or similar platforms.

• Liaise with insurance adjusters, property owners, and third-party stakeholders to confirm scopes and gain approvals.

• Oversee a portfolio of 30+ active claims/projects simultaneously.

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, timelines, and schedules to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation (estimates, scope of work, inspection photos, correspondence).

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and client expectations.

• Participate in a weekday on-call rotation for emergency site response.

• Maintain a high standard of communication and service with both clients and insurers throughout the process.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance restoration project management (Required)

• Proven use of Xactimate for estimating property loss claims (Required)

• Familiarity with XactAnalysis or other insurer portals (Preferred)

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume workload (30+ claims at a time)

• Excellent communication skills and professionalism in client-facing interactions

• Experience coordinating sub-trades and managing on-site crews

• Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

• Certifications such as PMP, IICRC, WRT, or AMRT considered strong assets
