Position Overview:
We are looking for a Pediatrician to provide assessments, treatment, and/or consultations for children and families, with a focus on Autism and related neurodevelopmental conditions. You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with Nurses, Physicians, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other professionals to provide the best care possible. Your Key Responsibilities:
● Conduct pediatric assessments for clients with neurodevelopmental conditions, particularly Autism.
● Collaborate with our team to discuss diagnoses, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
● Provide feedback to clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated, holistic approach to care.
● Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
● Conduct assessments through secure virtual platforms when required or in-person as per yourpreference
● Offer short-term and long-term treatment options, such as behavioral therapies, family counseling, and support for social and emotional development.
● Collaborate with the assessment team to integrate findings into treatment planning.
● Deliver therapy through secure virtual platforms, in-person, or hybrid models, depending on client needs.
● Keep client records thorough, accurate, and current.
Your Qualifications:
● Pediatrician with valid medical licensing in Ontario (or eligible for registration).
● Experience or strong interest in working with children with Autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
● Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team setting and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
● Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest research and evidence-based practices in pediatric care, particularly in Autism and neurodevelopmental diversity.
● Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efectively with clients, families, and ateam.
