Description:

**Onsite | Toronto, ON**

Our client is looking for a Product Manager to join their team. This role will be instrumental in shaping and executing their reporting capabilities, ensuring advertisers have the insights they need. Reporting is critical from the perspective of all sellers investing into advertising at Client, through which they can visualize performance of their ads, and consume the data in the best and easiest fashion possible, so that they can optimize their advertising campaigns, as well as make better and faster business decisions

As a part of the team, you will work closely with a Senior Product Manager-2, who will provide guidance and mentorship while leading the overall strategy. Your focus will be on driving key initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring execution excellence, while also contributing to broader strategic discussions.

We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $30 - 40/ hr W2 (USD)

Responsibilities:
  • Own the key components of the Advertising Reporting product area.
  • Contribute to long-term vision and roadmap discussions while ensuring near-term execution aligns with strategic goals.
  • Define and drive product requirements for advertising reporting solutions, ensuring scalability, accuracy of data, and usability.
  • Partner with seller-facing teams, engineering, data science, and UX teams to build robust reporting solutions.
  • Work with internal stakeholders (product marketing, go-to-market) to gather inputs and feedback, to refine reporting capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting products based on customer needs, industry trends and data-driven insights.
  • Consider seller needs for reporting within UI for performance visualization, and also from a backend perspective focusing on data accuracies and translating advertising cost and sales into more understandable results for sellers.
  • Give equal attention to desktop sellers, mobile sellers, and even partners and sellers connecting through API.
  • Strive for parity of data with other seller-facing verticals of the larger Selling Experience domains.
  • Prioritize product backlog and manage trade-offs between features, technical constraints, and business needs.
  • Ensure data integrity, performance, compliance with privacy regulations, and most importantly the ease of access.

Experience Requirements:

Who you are

  • A proactive and execution-driven product manager who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to translate data complexities into actionable insights.
  • Thinking ahead of the customers (sellers), empathizing with them, and providing answers to the problems they may have not yet realized.
  • A strong communicator, capable of working across teams to align priorities and drive impact, including effective communication with senior leadership.
  • Comfortable managing multiple initiatives while balancing immediate needs with long-term objectives.
  • Proficient in switching contexts quickly between such multiple initiatives, as well as, between a high-level strategy conversation with leadership, and jumping into solution details with execution teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in advertising, data analytics, or business intelligence.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a metrics-driven approach.
  • Proven impact on delivering value to customers.
  • Ability to solve complex problems creatively to meet goals.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools meant for product management (Tableau, Amplitude).
  • Familiarity with ad tech ecosystems, and APIs.
  • Ability to work well with a variety of people ranging across technical levels.
  • Experience collaborating with the engineering team in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with advertising or digital marketing either from a product or a technical standpoint.
  • Experience with programmatic advertising, attribution modeling, or campaign performance reporting.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-driven product development.
  • Knowledge of behind-the-scenes magic that goes into ensuring a successful e-commerce platform.
  • BS or MS Degree in a technical field.
  • MBA

What success looks like

  • Driving execution with collaborating on strategic planning with Senior Product Manager-2.
  • Ensuring our advertising reporting tools provide clear, actionable, and accurate insights.
  • Partnering with teams across the company to continuously refine and improve reporting capabilities.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys a mix of ownership and collaboration, is passionate about advertising data, and is excited to contribute to both execution and strategic discussions.
