Position Overview: As an HR Generalist, youll be a key player in ensuring smooth, efficient HR operations while contributing to our culture of excellence and growth. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding, with a focus on driving engagement, retention, and continuous improvement. This role offers a unique opportunity to wear many hats in a high-growth environment where your work will have a direct impact on the companys success. Were looking for someone with 3-5 years of HR experience who is excited to support the existing team to build and optimize processes as GoBolt continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding/Offboarding:
- Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, from posting and promoting jobs to sourcing and interviewing candidates.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
- Prepare and distribute new employee orientation materials and coordinate orientation sessions.
- Manage offboarding to ensure we are meeting our SLAs.
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Support payroll processing, benefits administration, and other HR operational tasks as needed to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and process HR-related documents such as offer letters, employment agreements, and termination paperwork.
- Pull appropriate reports as needed from ADP and Bamboo
- Lead compliance efforts by staying up to date on labor laws and regulations, making sure the company adheres to all relevant employment standards.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Support the HR team in addressing employee relations issues
Performance Management:
- Coordinate performance review processes and track completion of performance evaluations.
- Assist in developing and implementing employee training and development programs.
- Assist in the administration of employee performance reviews, ensuring alignment with company objectives and providing support for growth and development.
HR Projects and Initiatives:
- Support various HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and company culture.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in developing and revising HR policies and procedures to align with business goals while maintaining legal compliance.
- Track and report key HR metrics such as turnover, engagement scores, and time-to-hire, providing insights that help leadership make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Deep understanding of core HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and positive relationships across all levels of the company.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change quickly.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Passionate about creating a positive and engaging work environment.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience with Bamboo HR
- CHRP designation
