Summary:
The Digital Paid Media Specialist is a key player in developing and executing digital fundraising strategies. This role reports into and works closely with the Director, Digital Fundraising to manage and optimize paid media campaigns and digital strategies that enhance our non-profit clients' fundraising efforts. With a focus on performance analytics, media buying, and campaign optimization, this role requires a passion for digital marketing and a commitment to continuous learning within the non-profit sector.
What the Role Includes:

Campaign Execution and Media Buying Strategy
> Collaborate with the Director, Digital Fundraising and the Digital Fundraising Strategist to support the planning, setup, and execution of digital and paid media campaigns across multiple platforms (Meta, Google, Bing, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest).
> Execute paid media campaigns, including audience configuration, targeting, test configuration, QA testing and sharing ad previews with clients for approval.
> Support the development of media plans, blocking charts, and campaign trackers.
> Configure and execute paid media ads, ensuring alignment with project goals and strategies.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting
> Assist the Digital Fundraising Strategist in generating detailed performance reports, analyzing campaign data, and providing insights to guide future strategies.
> Monitor campaign performance across various digital channels and contribute to ongoing optimization focused on improving ROI and driving results.
> Track campaign performance against established KPIs and media spend against budget to ensure campaigns remain on target.
> Manage data pull requests and ensure accurate tracking setups for performance measurement.

Content Creation and Optimization
> Execute content strategies for social media, search and email marketing, including content and keyword plan development.
> Advise the studio team and external vendors on digital best practises for campaign deployment and creatives.
> Support the creation of donation forms and landing pages using platforms like FundraiseUp, Blackbaud, and Classy.
> Contribute to developing A/B test plans, audience segmentation plans, and implement ongoing campaign data and creative refreshes to maximize results.


To be Successful:
> 2 - 3 years of experience in digital marketing and fundraising, preferably in the non-profit sector or within an agency environment, with a strong foundation in campaign execution and performance analysis.
> Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, and experience using SEM tools like Google Keyword Planner and Semrush.
> Familiarity with fundraising platforms and CRMs such as FundraiseUp, Engagin Networks, Blackbaud, and Classy would be an asset.
> Ability to analyze data and optimize campaigns based on performance metrics. A strong interest in developing digital strategy and paid media skills.
> Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients.
> A proactive approach to professional growth, with a desire to engage in ongoing learning opportunities to advance in the role and remain up to date with digital marketing and fundraising best practices.
