The Role

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Local Marketing Manager is a dynamic, hands-on role focused on executing local market strategies and driving business growth through community engagement, brand activations, and new partnership development.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute localized marketing strategies for shop openings, key retail periods, and ongoing visibility

  • Lead community outreach, sponsorships, and grassroots campaigns that increase brand engagement and foot traffic
  • Activate local influencer campaigns, cross-promotions, and event partnerships
  • Identify and secure strategic local business partnerships (gyms, hotels, schools, events, etc.)
  • Support national and regional marketing programs, tailoring activations to the local market
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the digital, content, and creative teams to bring campaigns to life
  • Track and present campaign performance, analyze results, and provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Travel to shop locations for grand openings, community events, and field support as required

What You Bring

  • Post-secondary certification in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, business development, or field support (franchise or retail experience is a strong asset)
  • In-depth knowledge of the full marketing mix including lifecycle marketing, organic/paid social, events, and digital media
  • A strong understanding of local marketing strategy and grassroots execution
  • A self-starter mindset with entrepreneurial drive and creative problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Comfortable working with performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate success
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel for on-site support, events, and activations

Why Join the Tommy Gun's Crew?

  • Be part of one of the most recognized and respected grooming brands in Canada
