"The primary function of a High-Profile Security Guard is to provide the highest level of security and customer service possible and to follow all regulations and policies set by the company and clients. Their most important goal is to keep the property, its tenants, visitors, and employees safe and free from harm."

• This position involves riding an E-bike around the downtown Duncan corridor area. A driver's licence is also required.
• The shifts are from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday to Friday ad 7:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday - MUST BE AVAILABLE ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Either possess or be able to obtain a BC Security Workers Licence (Ask us!)
  
• Valid driver's licence required and own vehicle
• Ability to ride an E-Bike
• Daytime availability - *Must be available weekends*
• The ability to interact with people in a compassionate and respectful manner
• A calm demeanor and sound decision-making skills
• Strong observation skills and ability to complete high-quality reports
• Ability to use computers and smartphones with ease
• Physically fit with the ability to ride an e-bike, stand and walk patrols, climb stairs, etc.
• Ability to follow security procedures set by our clients and Footprints Security
  
• Must be proficient in the English language (verbal & written)

Static Security Guard - General Responsibilities

• Provide a security presence in the downtown Duncan corridor area
• Conduct patrols by e-bike, car and on foot - must be physically fit
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and the public
• Ability to interact politely, calmly and assertively with a wide range of people from varied environments including individuals struggling with homelessness and addiction
• Ensure client property and personnel are safe and secure, providing security inspections for assigned facilities
• Compassionately and respectfully enforce private property laws
• Observe, record, and report activities and security incidents while on shift
