Position Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Operator/Labourer to join our team and take on critical work in sewer flow monitoring, CCTV sewer inspections, FOG testing, manhole (MH) inspections, dye testing, and more. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CCTV sewer inspections, flow monitoring, manhole inspections, dye testing, and FOG testing to support inflow and infiltration investigations.
- Mentor and train team members on best practices for safety, efficiency, and technical processes.
- Complete daily reports and productivity tracking to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Set up traffic control measures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collect and transmit field data, including photos, videos, and measurements, following set standards.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized sewer monitoring equipment.
- Occasionally engage with the public, clients, and other stakeholders on-site, handling inquiries and concerns positively.
- Follow defensive driving practices and adhere to all road safety regulations, particularly when operating commercial vehicles.
- Maintain and ensure proper care of tools, equipment, and work vehicles.
What Were Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in a construction field services environment (preferably involving sewer/MH inspections and confined space work). Candidates with less experience may be considered at a reduced wage.
- Hands-on experience with traffic control plans and setups on primary roads.
- Valid certifications in Defensive Driving, First Aid CPR Level C, Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, and Traffic Control (MTO Book 7).
- A full G (DZ preferred) drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving vans, small trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles is an asset.
- Ability to carry equipment (< 50 lbs) over short distances.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, GIS software, and communication tools like Email and Teams is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools, gadgets, and monitoring equipment.
Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily field-based, with exposure to various weather conditions.
- May need to work evenings, weekends, night shifts, and extended hours based on project requirements.
- Travel across Southern/Eastern Ontario may be required.
- Must be adaptable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality and high ethical standards.
