About the role:

Our client in the Financial Services industry is seeking a Front-End Developer to join their team and help build high-performance, user-friendly web applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js with a strong focus on performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance front-end applications using Vue.js or other modern frameworks.
• Optimize application performance, including lazy loading, code splitting, and caching techniques.
• Ensure applications meet WCAG accessibility standards and deliver an inclusive user experience.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless web experiences.
• Implement best practices in front-end architecture, state management, and API integration.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code, following agile development methodologies.
• Stay up to date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Vue.js (Preference for candidates who have migrated from Angular to other frameworks).
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience in front-end performance optimization (e.g., reducing render time, improving Lighthouse scores).
• Hands-on experience in WCAG accessibility compliance and ADA best practices.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) and UI libraries like Material-UI, Tailwind CSS, or Bootstrap.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
