Job Summary

The Talent and Campaign Manager will be managing several influencers/talents, overseeing their social media campaigns; from booking and contract negotiations to briefing, execution and follow-ups. This individual will spearhead special projects that are aligned with the mission and purpose of double shot and will also aid in business growth by increasing our roster and client database.

Key Tasks + Responsibilities

Talent and Team Management:

  • Manage a select number of talents throughout their campaign journeys; from booking to briefing, to content execution and analytics/reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with your talents.
  • Handle difficult conversations with talents grievances with the right approach to best navigate situations effectively.
  • Ensure good talent retention (be eligible for a salary bonus).
  • Be proactive and reactive to new paid partnership opportunities for our roster with current, past and new brands.
  • Take part in talent briefing sessions, to help create the most effective & creative campaigns.
  • Negotiate paid opportunities and review talents contracts.
  • Oversee talents content creation process; including photoshoots, video productions, online content creation, etc.
  • Manage talent onboarding process.
  • Be the lead in the communications between the content creators and the brands.
  • Demonstrate solid pitching skills to garner big campaigns for your talents.
  • Manage your workload by ensuring all campaign deadlines are met; you are also responsible for ensuring junior team members are delivering their tasks.
  • Follow preset KPIs and Goals aligned with the organizations overall business goals and objectives to ensure that talent initiatives support broader company success.
  • Lead by Example and demonstrate best practices. Advocate for a culture of recognition where employees contributions and achievements are regularly acknowledged and celebrated.
  • Encourage flexibility and adaptability to your management style to respond effectively to changing circumstances and employee needs.
  • Leverage Technology: adopt new tools and suggest exploring and utilizing modern technologies and tools that can streamline talent management processes, and improve efficiency.

Special Projects & Sales:

  • Support the agencys social media team with content planning and ideation.
  • Be on top of trends & best practices for diversity in the lifestyle marketing space, as well as within the talent management world.
  • Participate in the growth of double shots talent roster.
  • Be responsible for KPIs by managing and monitoring the performance of your campaigns and making sure you are delivering strong results.
  • Help increase sales effectiveness
  • Support in reporting optimization.
  • Help with business development by identifying brands/agencies of interest that could benefit from our services.
  • Solidify these relationships by setting up meetings with both brands and agencies for social outings (virtual or in-person)
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives such as conferences, events, etc.

Education and Skills

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in talent management & influencer relations
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written (French would be an asset)
  • Social media savvy - Have strong knowledge of Instagram and Tik Tok
  • Proficiency with Mac systems, as well as Office software (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
  • The capacity to juggle multiple projects at a time
  • Strict attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
  • Dynamic & self-starter that can work with efficiency & speed
  • Sound work ethic and professionalism, with a strong sense of client service
