Location: Thunder Bay ONShift: Mon - FriSchedule: 8:00 am- 4:00 pm, must be able to work on weekends as requiredPay rate: $23-30 depends on the number of years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee restoration projects, including water and fire damage recovery, environmental cleanups, and abatement work.
- Lead on-site teams when needed, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Communicate directly with customers to schedule services, assess project requirements, and provide updates.
- Perform emergency cleanup services, structural drying, and environmental abatement (e.g., asbestos, mould).
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Responsible for maintaining, unloading, and reloading assigned vehicles with equipment.
- Responsible to maintaining clean and organized all workplace areas.
- Responsible for loading/unloading in assigned areas.
- Other general duties as required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must have PPE (Hard hat, safety shoes & vest)
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Works independently as well as in a team.
- Ability to learn new skills and get cross trained.
- Effectively works within hazardous environments safely.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
Requirements and Experience:
- High School Diploma required.
- One or more years' experience within the restoration industry.
- IICRC Certifications in Water Restoration (WRT), Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT), and Fire/Smoke Restoration (FSRT) are strong assets.
- Any construction industry experience.
- Must be able to pass background check.
- Ability to carry up to 50lbs.
- Ability to frequently standing, bending, and walking.
