We are looking for an empathetic, strategic thinking HR Business Partner who will be embedded within our Canadian-based Operations team. You will be tasked with supporting frontline employees and managers across our fulfillment and parcel departments. You will act as a trusted advisor, driving HR initiatives that enhance workforce engagement, performance, and compliance while ensuring we maintain our strong, people-first culture.

What Youll Do

  • Strategic HR Partnership Partner closely with operations leadership to align people strategies with business objectives, ensuring a proactive approach to workforce planning, employee engagement, and talent retention.
  • Employee Relations & Coaching Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation, ensuring a fair and compliant work environment.
  • Talent & Workforce Planning Work with leadership to assess workforce needs, optimize headcount planning, and implement talent development strategies for frontline teams
  • HR Compliance & Risk Mitigation Ensure compliance with federal, and provincial labour laws.
  • Performance & Culture Support initiatives to foster a high-performance culture through recognition programs, employee surveys, and action plans that improve engagement and operational efficiency.
  • HR Data & Insights Use people analytics to inform decision-making, track trends in turnover, engagement, and productivity, and recommend proactive solutions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years as an HRBP supporting operations, logistics, or frontline teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian labour laws and HR best practices
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety and managing workers compensation cases is a plus
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with operations leaders in a growing company.
  • Hands-on experience with employee relations, coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • A data-driven mindset with experience using HR metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity in a scale-up environment.
  • Experience working in tech, logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce is a plus.
