The Alberta Real Estate Association (AREA) is seeking a part-time independent contractor to support our organization by configuring, customizing, and maintaining the HubSpot platform to align with our business needs. This role is ideal for a HubSpot expert who excels at problem-solving, technical support, and system optimization.
The contractor will provide services remotely, with some in-office time as required.
Hours will vary; anticipate 15-20 hours per week.

Services Required
Configure, customize, and manage HubSpot for optimal performance
Coordinate user groups, roles, and permissions across teams
Oversee paid licenses and system credential documentation
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to HubSpot, integrations (e.g., Stripe), and data flows
Develop and implement HubSpot integrations to enhance workflows
Ensure data integrity, segmentation, and compliance
Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to teams
Optimize business processes using HubSpot automation, workflows, and reporting
Develop dashboards and analytics for data-driven decision-making
Stay updated on HubSpot trends, best practices, and compliance
Collaborate with other departments and IT to align HubSpot with organizational goals
Ideal Service Provider
The contractor will have technical expertise and analytical thinking, enabling them to communicate complex solutions in a user-friendly manner. With a proactive problem-solving mindset, they will anticipate challenges, identify solutions in advance, and optimize HubSpot processes for efficiency and scalability. The contractor will excel at diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to HubSpot and its integrations while working cross-functionally to align the platform with organizational goals. Additionally, they can build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support seamless collaboration.
Required Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field with minimum 5 years relevant service experience (equivalent industry-related expertise will be considered)
Advanced CRM experience, preferably with HubSpot, including system architecture, integrations, and automation + API integration experience (e.g., integration architecture, endpoint guidance)
Experience managing data integrity, segmentation, reporting, and analytics within a CRM
Ability to effectively train and support users of varying technical skill levels, translating complex concepts into practical applications
