The Role:
Canco is seeking a focused and skilled Pricing & Logistics Coordinator to support the Fuel team. This person will be responsible for optimizing the companys pricing strategies. This individual will analyze trends, competitor pricing, and supply/demand to support internal pricing strategy. Additionally, they will monitor and maintain fuel inventory at all sites. Along with keeping a record of all delivery documents to provide to team and input into software to allow for timely invoices to end customers.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate efficiently with store managers and management for pricing related matters
- Monitor and analyze market trends, supply, and demand to identify the best pricing opportunities.
- Dispatch and maintain documentation of fuel delivery
- Monitor the site dips/ inventory on a daily basis to support optimum fuel levels
- Once deliveries are made to sites, post BOL confirmation data in the given software to ensure timely invoices to the end customers.
- Manage and monitor carrier relationships
- Order/ plan site survey and line up carriers for new customers coming on board
- Assist in creating fuel margin and volume objectives for various sites.
- Conduct data analysis to support pricing decisions
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on pricing performance and market trends for senior management, if requested.
- Oversee and quality check system generated delivery routes for completeness to drive efficiencies and meet key objectives
- Same day emergency/expedited order dispatch - Coordinate ETA with Drivers and Customers
- Change or make additions to routes as needed due to dynamic conditions
- Act as a liaison between fuel department and operations.
- Other ad hoc duties as required by the manager to smoothly run operations of the division.
What You Bring:
- Open to the possibility of weekend shifts
- Proven experience of 2+ years in Fuel, Finance, Economics or similar areas.
- Dispatching experience 1-2 years (recommended)
- Strong understanding of Fuel and Fuel Pricing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in market analysis.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Adept to learning new software systems as required
