Job Summary:

Warehouse Coordinator required to facilitate the incoming and outgoing product deliveries and day to day tool/equipment requirements and inventory. The Warehouse Coordinator will be called upon to pick up and delivery parts, deliver materials and equipment to and from job sites, suppliers, and the shop within town and some out of town travel will be required periodically.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive product deliveries, loading and moving product. Delivering product to site personnel if necessary.
  • Store products and tools in designated areas; adjusting storage areas according to product and shipping requirements; updating inventory database.
  • Prepares product for shipment by verifying location; directing movement to staging area; resolving problems.
  • Monitors company parts and tool inventory by completing counts as required.
  • Complete participation in Safety Program, including site inspections.
  • Oversee garbage, recycling and disposal program.
  • Perform tool/equipment inspections. Coordinate third party inspections and service when required.
  • Receive, store, sign out tools to employees and maintain records.
  • Tool repair and maintenance.
  • Back shop organization and cleanliness.
  • Other responsibilities as they are assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma
  • Data entry skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Valid Nova Scotia driver's license with clean driver's abstract
  • Valid forklift experience; Certificate will be required through company
  • Previous warehouse and delivery experience is an asset
  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy materials on job sites, up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be punctual; reliable and be well organized and able to maintain tool crib inventory and warehouse stock
  • Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision, independently and part of a team
  • Must be extremely safety conscious
