Job Posting: Insulators Kitimat Project

Location: Kitimat, British Columbia
Shift Schedule: 14 days on / 7 days off
Hours: 10-hour shifts (potential for 12-hour shifts depending on project requirements)

Job Overview:

Canoco Energy Services is currently hiring experienced Journeyperson Insulators (or equivalent) and 3rd Year Insulators to join our team.

Please note: We are not accepting applications from 1st or 2nd Year Insulators at this time.

Responsibilities:

• Apply insulation to piping, tanks, and other equipment according to project specifications.
• Measure and cut insulation materials with precision.
• Install vapour barriers, metal cladding, and other protective layers as required.
• Inspect and repair insulation systems as necessary.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures on-site.
• Work collaboratively with team members and other trades to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Insulator certification (valid proof required) or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial insulation preferred, particularly in oil and gas projects.
• Valid safety tickets:
  • WHMIS 2015
  • CSTS/CSO
  • H2S Alive (Preferred)
  • Fall Protection (Preferred)
  • Confined Space (Preferred)
  • Elevated Work Platform (Preferred)
• Strong commitment to safety and quality work.
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Preferred Experience: Working with cryogenic insulation systems is an asset.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work 14 days on, 7 days off in a remote environment.
• Physically fit to perform the job duties, including lifting and working in various weather conditions.
