Our Indigenous roots are weaved into every aspect of our business.Job SummaryCheekbone Beauty is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Beauty Sales & Education Freelancer to support Sephora Canada locations in the Vancouver, BC area. This flexible role offers an exciting opportunity to drive sales and deliver impactful education experiences for store teams and customers alike — representing the first Indigenous-owned colour cosmetics brand in North America.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Education

• Achieve sales targets within assigned territory.
• Conduct interactive product demonstrations with Sephora customers.
• Educate and coach Sephora Beauty Advisors (individually and in groups).
• Build strong, lasting relationships with store teams and leadership.
• Represent Cheekbone Beauty as the brand expert during all in-store interactions.
• Leave a positive, lasting brand impression with each store visit.

2. Merchandising & Inventory

• Maintain product merchandising in accordance with company standards.
• Monitor and tidy store displays; remove damaged or expired products.
• Restock product on shelves and monitor inventory levels.
• Prompt store management to reorder low-stock items.
• Coordinate with Sephora and Cheekbone Beauty on returns or damaged goods.
• Support special promotions and in-store displays as needed.

3. Communication & Reporting

• Provide feedback through survey submissions and field reports.
• Stay in regular contact with the Cheekbone Beauty Account Executive to:
• Schedule visits
• Flag stock issues
• Share insights from the field

Qualifications

• Proven passion for beauty, cosmetics, and skincare.
• Ability to represent Cheekbone Beauty's brand identity while adhering to store dress codes.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities; conducts interactions with professionalism and integrity.
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods (up to 100% of shift).
• Willingness to travel between stores (must have access to reliable transportation).
• Comfortable lifting up to 10–15 lbs.
• Proficient in smartphone use for email, video calls, text messaging, and surveys.
• Flexible availability, including Thursdays to Sundays, evenings, and occasional holidays.
• Prior retail, beauty, or education experience is considered an asset.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $25 – $28/hour
• Based on experience, qualifications, and living wage in the Vancouver region.
