Title: Network Engineer

Duration: 3-6 Months

Location: Richmond Hill or Waterloo, Ontario (Hybrid Onsite 3x/week, Remote Mondays & Fridays)

Rate: $60/hr - $70/hr

Overview:
We are seeking a mid-level Network Engineer to support Operational Technology (OT) environments, allowing the senior team to focus on upcoming large-scale projects. This role requires hands-on experience in network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and deployments.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, load balancers, and wireless networks (Arista/Cisco).
• Manage and troubleshoot Prisma Access and OT-SDWAN solutions.
• Assist in network design, transitions, and upgrades for switches and firewalls.
• Configure and support dynamic routing protocols, particularly BGP.
• Ensure network security and performance by maintaining Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and provide clear communication on project progress.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Prisma Access and OT-SDWAN deployments.
• Strong background in complex network design and transitions.
• Hands-on experience with Arista and Cisco networking equipment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Fortinet and Checkpoint firewall solutions.
• Experience working with dynamic routing protocols (BGP).
• Strong project coordination and communication skills.

• Looking for at least one highly skilled resource to lead design and migration efforts, with additional mid-level engineers to handle day-to-day networking tasks.
