Lambert Nemec Group, the premier provider of Permanent Accounting & Finance Recruitment in Winnipeg, has partnered with our Winnipeg-based client to seek an Accounting Manager to join their dynamic team.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the support and execution of all accounting functions to ensure efficient operation with a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities:

· Evaluate and prepare financial and managerial reports.

· Generate reports analyzing discrepancies.

· Improve monitoring processes for financial performance.

· Conduct financial modeling, trend analysis, and benchmarking for business scenarios.

· Perform monthly account reconciliations and oversee general ledger accounting.

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Requirements:

· Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

· Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a relevant field (mandatory).

· Proficiency in financial analysis, including forecasting and budgeting.

· Advanced proficiency in software applications, including MS Excel and financial planning/reporting tools.

· Experience with accounting software systems such as AccPac, Dynamics-Great Plains, SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP systems.

· Strong time management, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a high level of organizational ability.
