About the Role:
As an Associate at IG Wealth Management, you will support a Senior Financial Advisor and their team in delivering a comprehensive range of financial products and services to clients. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about financial planning, business development, and client relationship management. Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Growth:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the current client base.
- Leverage existing clients and Centers of Influence to uncover high-net-worth (HNW) referral opportunities.
- Generate new business through referrals and relationship-building efforts.
Client Service & Financial Planning Support:
- Gather and input client data into financial planning software.
- Assist in preparing financial plans, proposals, and presentations for client meetings.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships through additional services (e.g., insurance, banking).
- Jointly meet with clients alongside the Senior Financial Consultant.
- Monitor and update clients' financial plans as their circumstances evolve.
Administrative & Operational Support:
- Process new business applications and maintain updated client records.
- Track active tasks or projects and ensure timely completion.
- Handle client inquiries and proactively resolve issues.
- Maintain workflow and process efficiencies within the financial planning practice.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MFDA/AMF or RR IIROC license and LLQP certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
