Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Architect to join our team, responsible for developing, analyzing, and implementing the organization's storage infrastructure. This role ensures high data quality, availability, and seamless continuity of storage capabilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing storage solutions, performing capacity planning, and implementing backup and disaster recovery procedures to support business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Storage Infrastructure Design & Implementation:

  • Develop and design the organization's storage architecture to ensure high data availability, performance, and scalability.

  • Analyze current storage environments and create optimization strategies to improve data management and accessibility.

  • Oversee the implementation of new storage solutions and the integration of new technologies to enhance storage capabilities and meet business needs.

• Capacity Planning & Backup Procedures:

  • Create comprehensive capacity planning models to ensure that storage resources are adequate to meet current and future organizational demands.

  • Design, implement, and maintain backup and restore procedures, ensuring that storage systems are secure, recoverable, and highly available.

• Disaster Recovery & Continuity:

  • Develop and assist in the creation of disaster recovery plans specifically related to storage, ensuring the business can continue operations in the event of a failure.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that disaster recovery procedures are tested and effectively protect against data loss.

• Policy & Procedure Development:

  • Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure storage continuity, including backup, security, and compliance requirements.

  • Monitor storage environments and perform regular assessments to ensure policies are being followed and storage systems remain optimized.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must Have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Storage Architect, with a deep understanding of storage solutions and architecture design.

  • Experience with Security Clearance – Enhanced Reliability (a must for this role).

  • Proficiency in hardware and software related to storage solutions, including storage management tools and platforms.

• Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Host System Software and how it interacts with storage environments.

  • Expertise in Backup & Recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and availability.

  • Knowledge of Storage Strategy and long-term planning for growth and sustainability.

  • Familiarity with Storage Area Networks (SAN) and implementing them within an enterprise setting.

  • Bilingual – Fluent (French/English) is a plus, especially in multicultural environments.

Experience Levels:

• Level 1: Less than 5 years of experience

• Level 2: 5-10 years of experience

• Level 3: 10+ years of experience
