About the Job
As the VP, Finance, you will play a crucial role in guiding Vendastas financial strategy, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and preparing the company for future growth. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee accounting, reporting, treasury, compliance, and strategic financial planning. You will also provide key insights to the Executive team and Board of Directors, ensuring Vendasta remains financially strong and operationally efficient while positioning for potential IPO readiness, fundraising, or M&A activities.


Your Impact
As a VP, Finance, you'll work with the Finance & Accounting team and cross-functional leaders to:

  • Develop and execute Vendastas financial strategy in alignment with the companys growth objectives.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to support business decision-making.
  • Oversee accounting, treasury, payroll, A/P, A/R, and general ledger functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Strengthen internal controls, compliance, tax, and audit processes, ensuring financial integrity and risk mitigation.
  • Support strategic initiatives, including M&A activities, business integrations, and capital structure optimization.
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing Finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.


What You Bring to the Table

  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in high-growth technology or SaaS companies.
  • 5+ years leading finance teams of 6+ members.
  • CPA designation (Big 4 experience preferred) with strong expertise in financial reporting, audit, tax, and compliance.
  • Experience managing financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, SAP, Dynamics).
  • Proven ability to scale financial operations in a company with >$25M revenue and >300 employees.
  • Expertise in M&A, business integrations, and financial due diligence.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial best practices.
  • A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution and problem-solving.
