Calling all frac engineers with a passion for software development and data science! We are looking for a skilled frac engineer to provide input for our exciting software development project. If you have experience in frac engineering and a little exposure to data science, then you could be the perfect addition to our dynamic team!

As a member of our team, you will collaborate with developers to design and implement features that will support and enhance our cloud-based software. You will have the opportunity to use your knowledge of frac engineering and data science to help shape the development of cutting-edge software that is used by leading companies in the oil and gas industry.

We are looking for someone who can communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical team members, and who has the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requirements:

• Background in frac/completion engineering, with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Exposure to data science or data analytics is preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with software development principles and methodologies
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical team members
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in Spanish required
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers to design and implement features that support and enhance in-house built cloud-based software.
• Provide input on software development decisions based on your knowledge of frac engineering.
• Use data science techniques to analyze and interpret data from frac engineering simulations and experiments.
• Work with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support as needed.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in frac engineering and software development, and make recommendations for improving our software accordingly.
