THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator for a 6-month contract to support the implementation of a new warehouse management system. In this role, you will play a crucial part in streamlining operations and ensuring inventory accuracy. You'll be involved in a mix of administrative duties and hands-on tasks, including data entry, inventory management, and warehouse organization.
Your responsibilities will include verifying product measurements and weights, maintaining accurate records in Excel, and assisting with inventory counts. Additionally, you'll help coordinate inventory movements, organize storage areas, and assist in the overall smooth functioning of the warehouse.
This is a dynamic and varied role where you'll have the chance to gain experience in both administrative and operational tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Measure, weigh, and input product data into the warehouse system. Perform physical inventory checks, ensuring accuracy in dimensions and weight
- Update and maintain warehouse records using Excel; track inventory and logistics using spreadsheets
- Accurately input and update data in Excel, ensuring proper storage location and item details are entered correctly
- Work closely with the operations team and project manager to ensure timely updates on task completion and project progress
- Prepare and present daily updates on tasks and progress; generate weekly or biweekly summaries of ongoing tasks and warehouse performance
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as labeling, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Help organize and place signage for the proper storage locations, as directed by the team
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Familiarity with basic data entry and Excel is required
- Basic to Intermediate Excel skills are required; proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook) is necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods. Comfortable with manual labor tasks such as organizing and moving inventory
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions while collaborating with the team
