We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Showroom Consultant to join our team in Brantford, Canada. As a Showroom Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing expert product selection assistance and design advice to our valued customers. Your primary goal will be to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction while meeting or exceeding sales and gross profit targets.
- Assist showroom customers in assessing their needs, guiding product selections, and closing sales
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with designers, home builders, and architects to drive profitable sales growth
- Provide customers with prompt, reliable quotes and accurate delivery dates
- Meet or exceed monthly product-specific sales and gross profit targets
- Enter orders and quotes into the system, expedite purchases, and maintain proactive communication with customers
- Investigate and resolve customer issues, addressing short payments and returns in a timely manner
- Maintain up-to-date product literature to ensure customers have access to the most current information
- Drive showroom sales through promotions and maintain display materials
- Understand and adhere to all safety regulations at customer locations and within the profit center
- Collaborate with team members to achieve overall business objectives
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations to customers
- High school diploma or equivalent; college or university degree is an asset
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in plumbing, kitchen, or bathroom showroom sales
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and ability to learn order processing systems quickly
- Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
- Excellent relationship-building skills with customers, vendors, and team members
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to identify customer needs, provide solutions, and close sales
- Comprehensive knowledge of showroom products and ability to suggest appropriate options to suit customers' needs
- Knowledge of current kitchen and bath design trends
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate math skills for accurate quoting and order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience with Trend and Eclipse software is a plus

Salary Range - $45,000-$50,000/year
