Title: Operations Coordinator

Position Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for loading and managing all products that Skican offers to clients using the reservation program Rezometry. The Coordinator is the in-house expert of Rezometry.
Duties and Responsibilities
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Load contracts, supply, pricing, product descriptions, minimum lengths of stay, room configurations, close out dates, and black out dates for all travel products and services. Import cost (or sell) prices with excel.
Connect with vendors as required to ensure accuracy of contract information, verify costing.
Develop and manage pricing rules system for mark ups, margin, specials pricing such as early booking discounts or stay/pay and room pricing for extra people and children.
Ensure accurate costing for all products, including air, hotel, lifts, transfers, etc.
Train staff to assist with group / package set up in Rezometry
Liaise with key team members (Director of Operations, Director of Sales, Director of Finance, Manager of Sales) to improve efficiency of different aspects of the reservation process.
Prepare weekly payment reports and product confirmation reports.
Prepare travel itineraries including checking for accuracy of flight and transfer changes.
Troubleshoot product setup and pricing issues with the team that may arise
Assist in coordinating and completing product, package and specials setup for website andspecialpromotions andcampaigns (e.g. Ski Escapes, EBO specials, etc).
Be aware of updates to Rezometry software, report pertinent information at Team Meetings

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Full time availability. Start date May 1 ,2025.
Home based position. Applicant must have access to quiet work environment and high speed internet.
Careful attention detail, ability to work in a thorough, systematic manner with rigorous of checking of pricing.
Bilingual (English/French) an advantage
Tech savvy: Proficiency with MS Excel, basic programming experience, skilled at learning and working with a variety of software tools and platforms
Numerical competency, demonstrated ability to perform calculations with quality control procedures
Excellent time management skills, ability to work independently, meticulous work habits
Experience reading contracts, setting up vendors and creating pricing algorithms
Experience working with travel industry partners troubleshooting internal and external sales (recommended)
Experience with Rezometry or other reservation system(s)
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a (travel) sales environment.
Overtime may be required during peak periods
