Career Staffing Talent (CST) has partnered with a US and Canadian-based, growing national sprinkler, fire, and safety company to recruit a CFAA Fire Alarm Technician to join a growing Ottawa branch. The branch focuses on security and fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities:

• Testing, inspecting, verifying, and servicing fire alarm systems and devices.
• Inspecting installation sites and studying work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
• Demonstrating systems for customers and explaining details, such as the causes and consequences of false alarms.
• Testing and repairing circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
• Following local and national security standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• CFAA License.
• Prior experience with monitoring systems, emergency lighting systems, and security systems preferred.
• Siemens and/or Mircom ESD experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Customer-oriented mentality.
