THE ROLE

Our client is a well-established Vancouver-based law firm specializing in corporate, commercial, and real estate law serving local, national, and international clients. After an exciting restructuring at the beginning of this year, the firm is looking to welcome a skilled Corporate Commercial Paralegal to their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handling the organization and management of incorporations including reorganizations, acquisitions, mergers, amalgamations, amendments, revivals, dissolutions, name changes, and continuances
• Reviewing agreements
• Identifying and drafting necessary documentation
• Conducting and summarizing due diligence searches
• Performing minute book reviews
• Organizing and finalizing closing documents and preparing closing books
• Completing required corporate filings
• Performing other related duties and responsibilities as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 3 5 years of experience in corporate and commercial transactions
• Knowledge of relevant laws/legislations
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize judiciously
• Advanced computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
• Working experience with ALF
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Diligent and detail-oriented
• Ability to communicate effectively in a professional and courteous manner
• Adaptable with a strong work ethic
