As we scale up, we're looking for a hands-on IT & Facilities Specialist who is not only tech-savvy but also handysomeone comfortable solving complicated computer and networking problems, setting up office equipment, and tackling facility-related tasks.
Job Summary:
As our IT & Facilities Specialist, youll be the driving force behind our IT operations, making sure employees have the tools and support they need to do their best work. Youll own everything from setting up and managing laptops for new hires to troubleshooting technical issues and keeping our office hardware running smoothly. Beyond IT, youll also take on office maintenance taskslike assembling desks and office furniture, climbing ladders and mounting TVs. If you love working hands-on with technology and have a general do it yourself attitude, this role is for you!
Qualifications:
- IT skills are a must, being handy is less important task but still required
- Understanding of computer networking, routers and Wi-Fi
- Familiarity with printers and conference room A/V setups
- Able to troubleshoot various softwares and hardwares
- Skilled in general maintenance work, including basic carpentry, replacement of flooring, lights, painting and decorating.
- Comfort with and ability to use ladders and tools like power drills and saws is required.
- Excellent problem solving skills including an ability to diagnose and repair a variety of problems
- A proactive, hands-on mindset with a willingness to take on practical tasks
- Linux experience a plus
