Job Description

How You'll Make an Impact:

Sales & Market Analysis

  • Analyze food and beverage unit sales data (POS) and compare trends against industry benchmarks.
  • Evaluate competitive pricing and identify growth opportunities to maximize profitability.
  • Research customer preferences and market trends to recommend new product developments.

Operational Quality & Efficiency

  • Perform quality assurance checks on the IMS safety training system, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Audit the ‘Everyday' app for pricing accuracy, ingredients, allergens, kcal counts, and standardization.
  • Monitor IMS system training completion to meet health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Project & Calendar Management

  • Manage a national project timeline calendar covering three client locations, ensuring proper scheduling and logistics.
  • Support the Resident District Manager and General Managers in aligning analysis projects with business objectives.
  • Assist in planning and executing both local and national initiatives.

Innovation & Industry Trends

  • Utilize POS data and customer feedback to recommend new food offerings aligned with dietary trends (e.g., gluten-free, organic).
  • Leverage sustainability software to evaluate the environmental and social impact of sourcing practices, recommending improvements.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, researching consumer behaviors, competitor pricing, and emerging food trends (e.g., plant-based diets, health-conscious eating).
Qualifications

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • 3+ years of proven success managing food service operations in a busy setting, preferably within a corporate environment
  • Post-secondary education in business, hospitality, or related fields
  • Strong focus on building and maintaining positive client relationships while ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experience.
  • Proven experience managing employee hiring, training, performance, recognition, and development.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience managing financials, including budgeting, labour cost, food cost, inventory, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated commitment to Health and Safety
  • Service excellence training or certification.
  • Smart Serve Certification required.
