Position: Dispatcher
Type: Temporary
Location: CNRL Horizon
Schedule: 7 on/7 off Rotation (Compressed Work Schedule)

Role Summary:
The Dispatcher performs all general and specific administrative functions required by site, along with efficiently coordinating and scheduling transportation of personnel.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule transportation of personnel based on client needs and company resources.
- Maintain real-time communication with drivers via radio to provide direction, updates and support
- Performing day-to-day administrative tasks
- Address and resolve logistical issues such as vehicle breakdowns, route changes or weather conditions to minimize disruptions.
- Update and maintain accurate of dispatch activities such as driver logs, times and client interactions.
- Optimize routes to minimize fuel consumption
- Maintain constant communication with drivers. Relay important information to drivers, such as delays, detours, or changes.
- Continuously monitor the progress of buses, ensuring they are on schedule and addressing any delays or issues promptly
- Be prepared to respond to unexpected situations, such as accidents, breakdowns, or weather-related disruptions, by making adjustments to routes and coordinating necessary assistance.
- Quickly address any logistical issues, such as breakdowns, traffic delays, or last-minute changes in plans, and find solutions to keep operations running smoothly.
- Prioritize requests based on factors like urgency and availability.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years site experience
- Previous experience in dispatching or related field
- Experience in construction or oil & gas environment would be an asset
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Excel
- Proficiency with MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint
