Career Staffing Talent (CST) has partnered with a growing national sprinkler, fire, and safety company based in the US and Canada to recruit a CFAA Fire Alarm Technician (Urgently Hiring) to join a growing Cambridge branch. The branch focuses on security and fire alarm systems.

Position Summary

We are a fast-growing fire protection company currently looking to hire a CFAA Certified Senior Fire Alarm Technician for an immediate opening in Cambridge, ON.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection, testing, verification, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and program various systems (e.g., Mircom, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex).
  • Interpret electrical drawings and system schematics.
  • Complete and submit accurate reports and deficiency findings.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications

  • CFAA Certification (required) in good standing.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with fire alarm systems.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm panels and systems.
  • Valid drivers license with clean abstract.
  • Strong communication, time management, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
