Position Overview:
As a Group Fitness Coach at Orangetheory Fitness, you will lead high-energy group fitness classes designed to maximize results through a combination of cardiovascular, strength, and endurance training. You will motivate members to achieve their fitness goals, ensuring that each individual feels supported, challenged, and empowered during every workout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate members during group fitness classes, ensuring an engaging, positive, and high-energy environment.
- Deliver Orangetheory Fitness signature HIIT workouts with proper technique, safety, and adjustments.
- Foster a strong community culture, helping to inspire and engage members in their fitness journey.
- Monitor and adjust workouts based on members' fitness levels and goals.
- Provide personal guidance and feedback to help members optimize their performance.
- Conduct fitness assessments and help members track progress over time.
- Ensure the fitness studio is always clean, organized, and ready for class.
- Collaborate with other team members and management to enhance the overall member experience.
- Uphold Orangetheory Fitness standards of customer service and member satisfaction.
Educational Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Degree or certification in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Current Group Fitness Instructor certification (e.g., ACE, AFAA, or other accredited organizations).
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Certification in Orangetheory Fitness-specific training will be provided upon hire.
- Previous experience in group fitness instruction or personal training is preferred.
- Strong understanding of exercise physiology and group fitness programming.
