What Youll Deliver:

APOLLO Insurance is looking for a Business Development Manager, Property Management Partnerships to support our rapid expansion. This person has an opportunity to make a significant impact on a fast-paced Insurtech company as we build out our team. The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and creating new partnerships, and growing APOLLOs brand within the multifamily dwelling sector.

Responsibilities - We promise it wont be mundane.

  • As a BDM and brand ambassador, you will be responsible for acquiring new partnerships, execution and performance in your industry verticals with prospective partners
  • You will participate in expansion strategies and provide ongoing improvement for new partnership programs
  • Provide the highest levels of personal leadership and accountability and be an essential partner in ensuring the Company meets its revenue targets and carrying a personal quota.
  • Co-developing marketing and sales strategies with our partners to create engagement.
  • Responsible for creating lead flow from our partners through marketing initiatives including email campaigns, social media campaigns, and engaging with partners marketing departments
  • Build, manage and track sales opportunities and activities
  • Supporting and collaborating with the partnerships team in consistently meeting and exceeding targets to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Partner with your team to overcome challenges and obstacles
  • Meet and exceed internal KPIs and success measures.
  • Participate in monthly reporting requirements to the business.
  • Other duties as required

Location: We are open to hiring in Toronto or Ottawa, Ontario. This position attends in person meetings/events regularly.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years in sales with a focus on prospecting, relationship building and new partner development
  • Experience working with REITs, Property Management organizations and/or the Insurance Industry would be preferred
  • Develop, build, and accelerate growth through exceptional relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft office suite and google docs, particularly excel/sheets for partner performance tracking
  • Understanding of CRM software, experience with Hubspot a plus
  • Comfortable building rapport, communicating, and selling through various communication methods including phone, email, zoom, and in person (when applicable)
  • Teamwork oriented with a passion for executing and achieving goals
  • Comfortable speaking with people in executive level positions
  • Motivated, Driven, with a self-starter attitude
  • A courageous, adventurous, candid individual who has a high sense of integrity and a strong desire to win.
