Position: Junior Game Designer
Report to:Team Lead
Department: Pre-production 3D SLG Game Team
Hiring Level: Junior ( Graduated students Welcome)
Contract length: 1 year fixed-Term with potential extension

Hiring Processes:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to design and develop systems for SLG (Simulation & Strategy) mobile games.
  • Assist in building numerical models and formulating designs based on game system rules.
  • Analyze mobile titles to evaluate gameplay and other relevant systems.
  • Provide feedback to fellow game designers in a collaborative environment.
  • Document and communicate game systems to other disciplines, incorporating input from designers.
  • Playtest and offer feedback on in-development features and new products.
  • Manage key in-game data, including pricing, development rhythm, and resource management.
  • Perform other game development-related tasks as assigned by the team.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of game development experience.
  • Degree in Game Design or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel functions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong execution skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and creative abilities.
  • Excellent teamwork and the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
  • Experience with AI tools is a plus.
