THE ROLE Director of Major Accounts Remote
Waste Logic is in growth mode we offer you the opportunity to grow and take that next step in your career in the Greater Toronto Area selling nationally in Canada. For at least the past 5 years you have developed a broad range of skills in new business development on a national scale. You are a hunter and strong relationship builder who is responsible, self-motivated, detail oriented and a good communicator. You are a strategic thinker and will work closely with executives to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence.
Your influence and impact:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within major or national account segments in the waste and sustainability industry
- Prepare and present compelling proposals to potential clients
- Communicate to high level contacts at the Director, VP or C-Suite level
- Book qualified virtual customer meetings weekly and face to face as required
- Manage large opportunities and track prospects through HubSpot CRM
- Achieve and/or exceed all sales targets assigned
- Moderate travel
EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES
- 5+ years experience in a new business development role working with national or major accounts
- Experience in creating corporate sales presentations and delivering to high level leadership teams
- Evolving new business through the sales cycle, from active prospecting to the close
- Experience with MS Office 365, PowerPoint and CRM software
- Energetic and friendly with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment
- Confident self-starter with a desire to learn, preferring exceptional to the status quo
- Exceptional verbal/written communications and comprehension with attention to detail
- Manage multiple tasks and have exceptional follow up skills both internally and externally
- Comfortable working in an environment that is fast paced and demands robust deliverables

EDUCATION
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent work experience
