Our company is growing and looking to add a Production Manager. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.
The Production Manager is involved with the planning, coordinating and controlling the production processes. To ensure that all products are produced to the specified specifications.Targetst and deadlines are met to achieve the orders as well as the goods and services are produced efficiently ant the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality. To ensure that all direct staff comply with the company's Health and Safety procedures. Other responsibilities include:
- Develop monthly and quarterly production plans based on sales orders and market demand, allocate targets, and oversee implementation to ensure adherence to production schedules and timely delivery. Coordinate resource allocation across departments, optimize production scheduling, and address production capacity bottlenecks
- Review material requirement plans, monitor inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products, manage material entry, exit, return, replenishment, inventory checks, storage, retention, and waste disposal processes, and enhance inventory turnover efficiency.
- Supervise the workshop production process, ensure equipment operates normally, enforce safety production standards, and regularly organize equipment maintenance and safety inspections. Address production anomalies such as equipment failures and process issues, develop contingency plans to minimize impact on production schedules.
- Analyze production costs including labor, energy consumption, and materials, formulate cost reduction and efficiency improvement strategies, and promote lean production practices.
- Implement a quality management system, monitor product qualification rates, coordinate quality exception handling, and implement improvement measures.
- Lead production and health management teams, establish performance evaluation criteria, conduct skill training programs, and enhance team efficiency.
- Monitor production data via digital management platforms, generate reports, continuously optimize production processes, and promote automation and information system upgrades.
- Responsible for establishing and training the echelon of personnel in territorial management.
To qualify for this role you must meet the following:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, logistics management, or a related field is preferred
- More than 8 years of experience in manufacturing production management, including at least 3 years of comprehensive production and operations management experience
- Proficient in production planning and scheduling, SAP system operations; familiar with lean production, Six Sigma, TPM, and other management methodologies, with demonstrated capabilities in process optimization and cost control
- Proven capability to perform efficiently under pressure and lead multicultural teams with competence
- Bilingual - Mandarin and English is preferred
